There is something magical; freeing that comes from using materials found in nature to create with no specific end goal in mind. Every day while on Prince Edward Island during the summer I seek to create something in nature using materials readily available to me. Whether finding pieces of drift wood, cropping nature through a camera lens, or building with my hands in the sand - each of these "moments" is often eventually taken away by the very tides that swept these materials in.
